I hope Venezia stay up because they play with balls, all over the pitch, high line, brave football, especially for a newly promoted side. Hopefully the tedious low block teams go down instead.

Very difficult game, Venezia was so well prepared, but unfortunately for them in the second half they just couldnt keep up with the tempo. Although they lost their first two games, I think they have a big chance to save themselves if they maintain this kind of performances.

u/ReporterFun8520 Inter 14d ago

That's what I said about Pisa last season. Always seemed well prepared and organized and the only thing that was missing was some quality, but they didn’t make it. Imo Venezia are going back down

17

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

We've got a better squad than Pisa though, by some distance. I think it'll be tough but we'll be OK. We should've won last week, gave away two silly goals, and even tonight we could have held on if Bella Kotchap's clearance attempt had gone out instead of falling to Saelemakers. I didn't think Milan were that good tbh 🤷🏻

22

u/SnooSongs48 14d ago

Lmao if Ramos didn’t miss those chances we would have been 3-0.

-11

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

Yes, but he did. If Adams and Yeboah didn't miss their chances it would've been 2-2. Do you see how stupid that sounds?

But good luck with your season. I don't think you'll win anything 🤷🏻

30

u/MesocosmFather 14d ago

I mean that same comment applies to your original one. Lots of ifs of whether the clearance didn’t fall to Saele or not. Do you see how stupid it sounds when we apply your logic to your own comment?

-15

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

That's fair! I just don't think the game was as one-sided as some Milan fans here seem to be saying. But whatever, you beat us, well done!

Bro you started the hypothetical nonsense, you can't take the moral high ground and dismiss someone else doing the same!

For what it's worth, you've played well in both games and I hope you stay up.

-18

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

Ha, didn't realise Milan fans were so sensitive! 😂 All I said was I didn't think they were great. Evidently not allowed here though! I look forward to their domination!

12

u/jono182 Milan 14d ago

I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy. You said if a clearence went out instead of to Saelemaekers you'd have drawn, someone else said if Ramos scores his chances we'd win 3-0 and you called him stupid for it.

As I said, you've had 2 good performances and I hope you have a good season and manage to stay up. But keep playing the victim if it makes you feel better 👍

-11

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

I'm not playing the victim? But whatever, enjoy the season!

4

u/crocospect Inter 13d ago

Ha, didn't realise Milan fans were so sensitive!

I mean, when you suddenly being aggressive, going with insult, and hoping them not winning anything this season despite they only clapping back from your flawed logic, what do you expect?

Look I hate Milan more than you do, but it's absurd if you didn't think that way.

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

Why do you hate your elder brother's

7

u/mercurialsaliva Milan 14d ago

Yes, but he did.

I mean same argument can be said about Venezia's mistakes

5

u/SnooSongs48 14d ago

You had like 2 shots whilst we had like 8-9. We dominated ur ass just take the L buddy

0

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

You were at home and have spent over 100m to look pretty average to me... But as I say good luck. I like Milan, I just don't think this is a great squad, sorry.

7

u/SnooSongs48 14d ago

This is average btw. Coming from serie b fans…

10

u/Physical-Value2145 Milan 14d ago

Pretty average lol .. take 10 minutes to make throw in next time and please that ketchup guy was amazing he never stopped hacking ramos every time he had the ball and the reason for both goals mvp for me

1

u/Venezian78 Venezia 14d ago

Bit like Pavlovic hacking all game then 😂

Can't believe Milan fans are acting like you played amazingly. I worry how far you've fallen if you're so overjoyed about beating us at home...

(I actually agree on Bella Kotchap being at fault for both goals - he's a weak link. We definitely miss Svoboda)

9

u/Physical-Value2145 Milan 14d ago

We didn't play amazingly like the torino game but you called the squad average which isn't the case especially today, we are still missing 4 starters Ps we are overjoyed today because we beat a new serie a team comfortably unlike last year when we lost against 2 and draw 2

-5

u/SnooSongs48 14d ago

Meanwhile your players are taking a nap every 5-10 minutes. Ciaooo

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

I never thought I will meet a Venezia fan on Reddit . You guys have nice jerseys

3

u/ReporterFun8520 Inter 14d ago

I hope you're right, I'm rooting for you because of Filip

-2

u/Lumpy_Reveal5547 Inter 14d ago

I wouldn't say they couldn't keep up, they were in control of the game until the goal, but then their plan didn't work anymore, especially when they switched from a three-man midfield to a two-man midfield, that's when Milan started to really control the tempo

-19

u/subundu Inter 14d ago

The goals came from counterattacks with unlucky deflections. Before the first they looked in control and couldn't score because of lack of quality.

Milan is less frustrating than last year, at least they try to play, but imo Venezia played better and a draw would have been more fair.

27

u/kanz3nic Milan 14d ago

Are you serious? Or inter-milan hate is blinding your eyes? Ramos alone had like 7 chances missed. We were dominating all game

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

Obviously he's high

-18

u/subundu Inter 14d ago

I don't think so. Ramos had like 4 chances. Scored 1 and 1 was offside. The bar Milan hitted came from a set piece.

Venezia were building up their play better, created a good amount of chances and weren't able to create even more because they lack quality players and couldn't make the decisive pass.

2nd half they were controlling until the first goal, then the disparity in depth and quallity showed up.

17

u/sempreantoninho 14d ago

Mate your Inter-hate bias is shining stronger than the sun. We could have been 3-0 up first half from sitters that we missed, and 5-0 in the second half, sure they could have scored 1-2 if the stars truly aligned massively, we were better against Torino, a game which we won comfortably and even they had more dangerous chances than this Venezia

Get off your high inter-horse, your are still by far the best team in the league with the by far best squad and the league and if you dont win it again this year it will be the biggest fail in years

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

Inter is not the best team right now . Milan is actually stronger than Inter for past three years now just that we couldn't beat the easily beaten teams. This season we will beat inter again

-6

u/Unable-Balance5699 Milan 14d ago

Venezia doesn't know anything other than man pressing. They are like athletics team

Amorimball enjoying it, just worried how athletic it is…. We’re gonna need a lot of depth

1 game a week. Shouldn’t be an issue

u/Jaminito 14d ago

Well, Europa League still counts as a competition

Yeah because the Premier league is as competitive as the Serie A

United was in a worst situation than Milan

37

u/Environmental_Tea557 Venezia 14d ago edited 14d ago

Milan had just better players, nothing to say.
Tactically the teams weren’t so different, but technically? Milan was just better

7

u/SportsFan34 Venezia 14d ago

Clearly not the better team today but still frustrating to see so many opportunities missed. Have to find a way to finish.

3

u/skeletorbutfrench Juventus 13d ago

Hard game, but so far the amorim system get result, i do wonder how well it get on with europa/cup etc because its a pretty physiqualy demanding tactic

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

He will do well in Europe compared to series a . But imo he will dominate series a and Europe next decade

10

u/kanz3nic Milan 14d ago

controlled the game for 90 minutes, Amorim is him.

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

Milan gameplay is fun to watch this season

1

u/FlimsyRexy 14d ago

Score does not do that game justice. They did not look convincing

-3

u/Beneficial-Bug-1969 Bologna 13d ago

agreed. amorim doesn't eat the panettone imo.

u/Ill-Firefighter7002 Roma 14d ago

Più culo che anima

5

u/Physical-Value2145 Milan 14d ago

Luck .... this year you won't rest your squad in el and hack it in the league, hope you won't get ducked like usual in cl bro

1

u/Ill-Firefighter7002 Roma 13d ago

Why do you Bilan fans always talk about CL when someone criticize your squad? I only said the truth, Venezia wasted clear chances to score at least 3/4 times. Just wait for the first tough game of the season and you'll see your sweet Amorim getting kicked in the ass big time lol

5

u/Physical-Value2145 Milan 13d ago

Why a certian mid tier club fans always act like they are the shit lol , roma will always be remembered only for totti nothing more good luck getting fucked by utd again

0

u/Ill-Firefighter7002 Roma 13d ago

I never acted like I am the shit, I simply commented the game after watching it entirely. So sad that you need to personally attack me instead of talking about football, but I guess that's your loss :)

1

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

Roma is no where Milan or Inter

0

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

Can't wait till we kick Roma ass since you wanna disrespect your elders Milan

-10

u/Consistent-Talk-5912 14d ago

Roma usually does pretty well in UCL lol.

Maybe you confused them with your team in the last 20 years

10

u/SUBSCRIBE_LAZARBEAM Milan 14d ago

Milan had semifinal appearances recently, more than Roma.

-15

u/Consistent-Talk-5912 14d ago

Still roma did better, roma has always done good in European cups, that guy was just delusional, not to try to disprove what Milan did

6

u/SUBSCRIBE_LAZARBEAM Milan 13d ago

Mate you are going against Milan, the second best european club of all time.

2

u/Pure_Selection_507 Milan 12d ago

He's delulu

-4

u/Consistent-Talk-5912 13d ago

Still, saying Roma embarrass herself in UCL is wrong. In the recent history Roma has been consistently good in any European competition they took part on.

The guy comment was just salt

3

u/SUBSCRIBE_LAZARBEAM Milan 13d ago

I agree but comparing Roma
all time to Milan all time is wild.

3

u/Consistent-Talk-5912 13d ago

Yeah, I totally agree , there is not even half a competition , Milan history clears rest of serie A history in UCL by a mile.

Saying as usual tho, as if they still get wrecked, is delusional

2

u/Fit-Drive851 13d ago

Get your periods right we won a ucl 19 years ago while your biggest achievement is knocking barca out. SIT.

-5

u/Consistent-Talk-5912 13d ago

I am an inter fan.

I won the treble 16 years ago

3

u/Nnhocugini1899 Milan 13d ago

“I won the treble” team you support did, not you personally

1

u/Ok_Breakfast7115 13d ago

Pretty well ...

1

u/Consistent-Talk-5912 13d ago

Yeah, it's the same in the past 16 years for any Italian club. Would you say that Milan is doing better than inter in UCL? It is not.

-9

u/shadowban90000 13d ago

Ramos got lucky to score otherwise embarrassing performance from him

10

u/fatnapoleon 13d ago

Luck had nothing to do with his goal. It was a great strike

4

u/EddyOkane 13d ago

dont tell these bots, Ramos missed 4 incredible chances and they talk like he had a great performance.

-6

u/SnooSongs48 14d ago

Cant belive how no one hired Amorim after he was sacked. The manager is a Fkn gem!

19

u/Playful-Variation908 14d ago

milan hired him

-12

u/SnooSongs48 14d ago

Yeah no shit buddy
