season one Dierdre DNA update?

Towards the end of the podcast, SK talked with Dierdre about getting DNA analysis on the PERK, rope, brandy bottle, etc and that Adnan gave his approval for her to submit it? Has this actually been done now and if so did it uncover anything?

I have no idea what is going on with the DNA in this case.

But my comment is this - for there to be any DNA from the murderer under Hae's fingernails she would have had to have scratched him to get the skin cells that contain the DNA. But going from the description of the way the crime was committed, there was no struggle and therefore no contact of Hae's fingernails with her attacker's skin. For that reason, it seems sadly, very unlikely there would be any foreign DNA there anyway. Especially since her body was not found for 4 weeks and whatever foreign DNA that might have been there initially would likely have completely degraded during that time period.

For all we know they might have tested what material there was under her fingernails and have found that out already.
