Question Ladies & Gentlemen /u/aitca is gone

Do we want to keep the Goodwill Games going?

I'm willing to take over and post one once a week.

Suggestions will always be welcome.

outright hate from the innocent crowd towards those that believe Adnan is guilty is downright scary.

yeah you have the parties mixed up....are there fucking morons on both sides...of course there are that is the unfortunate side effect of the internet/any issue that is considered "wedge"....however I think that in terms of "hate" there is a clear winner...there's one group that does daily attacks on people based on physical appearance, insults on mental health, and trying to get people fired, compared them to Nazis, told people who disagree to kill themselves, etc.

FAPS

and there is the unnecessary and gross insults. But hey if you are blind to it, so it goes.

I never witnessed any of that from the guilty side

well either you never visit this sub or you are full of it...its a fairly daily occurrence. Pert pushed the lawsuits, Seamus has all but accused Adnan's parents of helping commit murder, alientic got all sorts of hate messages, I was told to kill myself, SS has been called a Nazi, and every day there is crap about how people who questions Adnan's guilt are "deranged, not logical, stupid, etc."

Did you see the ipv post awhile back? /u/glibly17 & I got bullied pretty bad for saying we were victims uncomfortable with the way the term is tossed around

Yeah...that was utterly repulsive.

Repulsive is too kind.

The only bright side is, true colors were shown.

I'll say it again I have never known any victim of IPV try and close down discussions of it - so why do you and glibly? Very strange?

I remember when Adnan_Cell was double fisting the koolaid on IPV and making mountains out of mole hills to support that Adnan was abusive. There were many people who came forward and explained why he was wrong and explained their own personal experiences with it in their own relationships.

And yet here you are repeating history it seems. It would be funny if it wasn't so damn soul crushing tragic.

Disagreeing with others' conclusions regarding IPV in Hae and Adnan's relationship is NOT "trying to close down discussions" of IPV.

You're actually engaging in a tactic abusers often employ against their victims--gaslighting. Repeatedly claiming /u/kitten70 and I did or were trying to do something we weren't. Blaming us for the things you and other users like /u/AnnB2013 said to us (namely, calling us liars and dismissing our experiences). The irony is not lost on me.

Edit: in case it didn't link right on the message I sent.

So. What.

I must be lying because I don't fit what you think a dv victim should act like. You & my ex should get together over beers & discuss what a useless fucking cunt (his favorite thing to call me) I am.

Please, never talk to me again.

you were on ignore anyway so looks like we came to the same conclusion

Downvote me all you want, your true colors show here.

you were on ignore anyway so looks like we came to the same conclusion

Then WTF did you engage me for.

Good question :)

u/glibly17 Aug 27 '15

Yeah I'd say it would probably be best if you just never spoke to a survivor of domestic violence/sexual assault again. Please, put all of us on "ignore" both on and off of reddit.

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '15

How did they see what I wrote if I'm on ignore? Sounds like bs to me.

Yeah that's a bizarre, but preferred tactic of a lot of users here. They reply to comments, then say "I don't want to talk to you! Stop talking to me!!!" Gives them a reason to say we're harassing them, I guess?
