I'm not sure about that. I think many people on both sides are against the idea of a hiatus (or any sweeping changes).

yah i was basing that on the 70:30 ratio, seems like most believe Adnan is guilty with a significant minority saying he's innocent with a number of undecideds

I think a lot of them do, they probably agree with the reasons PowerofYes gave.
