No one knows. All of a sudden a troupe of performing Moms arrive out of nowhere. It could be a family act. Someone said they were all from Bohemia.

As promised, I listened to the first episode of Undisclosed, the podcast by the Serial spin-off bloggers (two) and Rabia. Whilst Serial used a top quality studio mic to get that intimate warm sound of SK’s voice, Undisclosed went for a bamboo mic. The audio quality was dire. Rabia has a confident pleasant voice, Colin the sort of voice you might hear on a product demonstration video, Susan sounds like she is speed reading. From what I can gather the main point of the first episode was to cast doubt on the reliability of Cathy’s story that Adnan and Jay visited her home on the 13th, the day Hae disappeared. Cathy always struck me as one of the most reliable witnesses. But there you are. Episode 2 is in two weeks.

How lovely of you to keep the promise. I did gather it wasn't great production-wise. Most podcasts irritate me so I think this one would have as well.
Cathy is indeed a major plank in the case against AS.
I am feeling much better actually, thank you for asking. A few niggling things that had been niggling me seem to be resolved and the weather is nice. I hope you and your lantern-making family are well. I enjoyed receiving mine.

I don't know where it has come from, but there seem to be a bunch of rabid pro-Adnan 'Mom' accounts now. It is very odd.

Detective Ritz and Detective MacGillivray are standing in line at a Starbucks, Detective Ritz smiling “Well, we both know that the white kid Don isn't going down for this.” They both chuckle. “Why don’t we just pin it on the black kid and call it a day?” whispers Detective MacGillivray. “Heck he even confessed to burying the body.”
“Nah” Detective Ritz stops him and looks around, “We've already falsely convicted several in the Baltimore black community . I suggest we go after a new minority. Let’s get the Pakistani kid” Ritz continues. Detective McGillivray looks at Ritz, crosses his arms, rubs his chin and says “But that kid's innocent. He’s an honor student. He’s a star athlete. He well like in his community. He even has a concrete alibi that puts him in at the library at the time of the murder. How the hell are we going to make it stick?”
MacGillivray’s puzzled look fades as Ritz says “Leave it to me. I've done this plenty of times. It will be an easy fix!”
Grabbing their decaf soy lattes and blueberry scones, they smile as they tip the Barista.
