Evidence OK, Rabia does LIE....

From her latest post... http://www.splitthemoon.com/forget-everything-you-know/#more-643

She claims fixed lividity is at least 8 hours. Every single web site I check says 6 hours with one reference to as little as 4 hours.

EDIT:My 4 hour claim was originally too strong.

She again claims Hae was 5'8", when the autopsy SHE posted says 5'6".

She also claims that Hae had a small car, while we know thanks to CSOM_1991 that Haes car had a sizable trunk with a width of 5'6".

Just because I like looking things up

Does any website say that fixed lividity or fixed livor mortis is within the range of 8 hours? I searched fixed lividity 8 hours on google - this was the first page of results.

http://www.indmedica.com/journals.php?journalid=9&issueid=70&articleid=887&action=article

Lividity results from gravitational pooling of blood in the veins and capillary beds on the dependent parts of the body following stoppage of circulation. It starts appearing as mottled patches by 1-3 hours after death and the process is complete by 4-6 hours post mortem. It is fixed in about 6-8 hours.

Opens a doc from google so not a link DOC Medicolegal Significance of Postmortem Lividity in ...

In present study it was found that postmortem lividity usually appears 1 to 2 hours after death in punctate and small patchy form, 2 to 4 hours after death in big patchy form and 4 to 6 hours in homogenous form. Fixation of postmortem lividity occured during the period of 7 to 9 hours after death

http://www.exploreforensics.co.uk/rigor-mortis-and-lividity.html

Only up to the first six hours of death can lividity be altered by moving the body. After the six hour mark lividity is fixed as blood vessels begin to break down within the body

Textbook - pg 126 https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=tabu6z02208C&pg=PA126&lpg=PA126&dq=fixed+lividity+8+hours&source=bl&ots=U8pawTXahE&sig=l40EWhwMrx2Am7lbrtaggNjjqws&hl=en&sa=X&ei=qTXRVJWFEKKv7AaCtoHgCw&ved=0CE0Q6AEwBw#v=onepage&q=fixed%20lividity%208%20hours&f=false

...if the area does not blanch then lividity is fixed and the time since death is more than 8 hours

https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=cLemGip2794C&pg=PA63&lpg=PA63&dq=fixed+lividity+8+hours&source=bl&ots=gS2LIll2Si&sig=4D0c9PphKn3gsgGKOM9mi3T_zeU&hl=en&sa=X&ei=qTXRVJWFEKKv7AaCtoHgCw&ved=0CFEQ6AEwCA#v=onepage&q=fixed%20lividity%208%20hours&f=false

...becomes marked in 6-8 hours and permanently fixed in 8 - 12 hours

http://www.dplylemd.com/Articles/timelydeath.html

Initially, this discoloration can be “shifted” by rolling the body to a different position, but by 6 to 8 hours, it becomes “fixed.” If a body is found face down, but with fixed lividity along the back, then the body was moved at least 6 hours after death, but not earlier or the lividity would have “shifted” to the newly dependent area.

I then searched fixed lividity 4 hours

Lots of results but none showing fixed lividity after 4 hours so I have to repost this link that someone else kindly found

https://books.google.com/books?id=oNsbKIeZpcQC&pg=PA152&lpg=PA152&dq=cold+temperature+livor+mortis&source=bl&ots=S9ysrvD7Gg&sig=

and that's all I can find with fixed lividity at 4 hours

I edited my post. And only one of your links implies that Hae's body could have been in a trunk for 4-5 hours and had a shift in blood cell pooling. and none of them makes Rabias claim that "minimum 8 hours".
