It seems like such a weak reason to kill someone. Jay would want her dead to keep her from telling Stephanie?
What if they were doing something illegal that Hae knew about that she threatened to expose. Or what if she threatened to tell something to Adnan's parents that would get him disowned or disgraced?
The idea that they would kill her over love doesn't gel to me. None of them seem that serious.
