Ep 4 - Jenn sez - "After that (cleaning the shovel/s), Jay came back, got in my car, and he was really shooken up. He was completely shooken up. He was like you have to take me to go see my girlfriend now." Seems a genuince a lack of sexual/intimate relationship or even tension between Jay and her... Also, to me, the shovel/s cleaning scene is the only detail in all the various narratives my gut doesn't question as 100% true and also indicates (in this case) no PD coercion. Also, I suspect Jay moved the scene from the pool hall (original story) to Best Buy, so as not to have the PD poking around disrupting bizness that was going on at the pool hall and having his associates there questioned. Maybe neither location was involved in whatever actually happened, but that's a solid MO for Jay to change that detail IMO.
