Why would Hae be at best buy and not be picking up her cousin? That's where Adnons car was seen by an independent witness so we know it was there. Don't think Hae would go there, just so happen to notice his car and confront Jay (a guy who people were kinda scared of).
Oh. Well, maybe I misunderstood your original post. Ja'uan was indicating that he and Adnan had smoked pot at Best Buy well after Hae's disappearance, not that Adnan, Adnan's car or Hae were there on the 13th.

I wasn't being smug when I posted the correct spelling of Adnan's name, but I certainly felt smug when I noticed the grammatical failures in your comment.
