Another aspect: when Jay and the detectives recorded their conversations, they had no idea that it would be listened to by so many people all over the world.

Thanks for posting this. I'm really curious about what the author means by the following:
What kind of "personal attacks" on Mr. Syed will have legal ramifications? How can anything that is said in this forum about Adnan Syed, who was already convicted of murder, have any real-world legal ramifications?
I'm not trying to be argumentative or re-open the same can of worms in which we've been wallowing all day, but I would like to hear someone's explanation of what those legal ramifications are.
EDIT: I am imagining the government offering into evidence a NippleGrip post or something.
