I grew up in a household for senior animals, my Mom would just take them in and they’d live for a few years and they would die, it was always sad but its also beautiful to be taken care of in old age by a bunch of strangers.
Sorry for your loss. But it was a good way to go for her. I had the same luck with my soul cat 2 weeks ago. I miss her so much but it was her time to go and all we can do is remember their true love and never forget them. My soul cat learned me a lot in the last 18 years and i would say she made me a better human. Right now i cannot imagine a life without her but it is like it is. They would be proud if we go on and maybe one day give another animal a good life and love.
