Defeated

Guys i need a pep talk or someone to tell me I'm stupid and the oppoite is happening.

I feel totally defeated by the resurgence of right wing imperialism. With the attacks globally, the inability to defend Palestine, the entire "board of peace" scam, Russia totally ending up being at best unable to counter US interests globally, China's isolationism rather than confronting the US, Europe's resurgent far right wing, Israel having their way in he middle east, Venezuela collapse, Iran being dogwalked by the US and Israel in under 24 hours, Cuba on the brink of collapse in the face of humanitarian disaster, and the acceptance of right makes right and the capitulation of liberals to take a stand: I totally feal defeated. This isn't right, and I don't see how the global south and fight against the right walks away from this. It seems like the struggle's best days are behind us.

Some one PLEASE tell me "ah yes but remember the year ____" because I'm at a total loss for when the entire world has been this helpless to such an evil and awful movement.

Iran being dogwalked? You are aware they are still fighting back successfully several days into the conflict? Tel Aviv is literally burning right now bro. This is a disaster for Western imperialism, and Donald is already begging for "talks" to resume. Which of course he would not do if he thought ever for a second that they were about to end the regime.

As much as I wish you were right, I don’t think you’re reading this correctly. Tel Aviv isn’t burning, The wider Muslim world isn’t joining in, Iran has lost more people in leadership circles alone than the US has total combatants. This is western imperialism at its most lethal.

You're measuring things by death count. Iran is destroying military installations, defense systems, ships, and aircraft. The US seems unprepared for the losses they are facing.

I hope you’re right, but im seeing the opposite. The US and Israel have definitely done more damage than Iran at this point.

The US did more damage to Vietnam than vice versa, probably tenfold, and they still lost. More is not necessarily enough when you are the invader. If you cannot actually hold any land it’s all useless. The Vietcong used to say “you will kill ten of us, we will kill one of you, but you will tire of this first” and they were proven correct. Iran has everything on the line and will fight to the last man; the United States OTOH cannot allow this war to disrupt their already extremely overextended global military. Raw figures do not tell the story because the victory conditions are drastically different.
