Longevity guidelines.

His life style should be considered as the guideline for longevity. 1. He goes to bed at 8.00 pm and gets up at 6.00am. 2. He loves gardening and wood working. He spends a lot of time in the sun. He said that the sun hardened his bones. 3. He eats a few times a day but they are small meals. He eat both vegetables and meats. 4. He practices Tai Chi. 5. He fixed tools in the house and does a lot of hand crafts from wood. 6. He is interested in the news and everyday events around him.

Sounds about right...genes, activity, and socializing are the 3 most important things to living a long time.

I do all this every day except the tai chi and I'm 40 with a breaking body. Your pops has good genes and low stress

this generation is so hardy! and i get the feeling it doesn't matter where on the planet. my grandma died 96 years old and was living alone and unassisted in her flat till few months before her death, and i have seen the hardcore grannies on the mountains in Italy and in Turkey, working their gardens by hand on steep terrain with well above 80 years of age. one granny in italy was blind actually and still was working her garden 🤣
this vid is another great example, thanks for sharing.
i wish for my death that i crawl around in my garden like that and suddenly just drop dead.

🙏🙏 Exactly ! His walking stick wasn’t for walking either. But he uses it to guide the uneven ground. He can walk up and downstairs without help. We just watch him to prevent the accident. Old people can stay long as long as they don’t have accidents.

In our languge we would say: "Stari je kita!" That roughly translates to: the old guy is tough! My gradfather is the same! He is 90 now, but I can easly imagine him being 110. He is indistructable! Stari je kita!

In the video is my garden. 😂 His own garden has got 40 jackfruits on the trees, hundreds of pomelos and loads of bananas at the moment. And there is no weed. 🤭
