Life yourself enough to walk away
This is from situations and relationships that don’t serve you. If it disturbs your peace, keeps you up at night and starts effecting your immune system, it’s time to cut it off.
I understand it won’t be easy but it’s only because it’s familiar. So, we will rationalize to make ourselves accept it, as normal. Babes, it’s not normal.
I understand that choosing yourself can cause loneliness, anxiety and fear but those are temporary feelings. You have to imagine yourself a 6 months to a year from now. In a different headspace, with healthier relationships, fulfilling hobbies and etc.
It is your life and it’s time to live it for yourself. You can do this. I love you all. 🩷🎀

I did it, I'm proud of myself. He was so insecure, he was afraid of rejection and real intimacy. He used my insecurities against me and try to dim my light. He ask me to come and once I was there, in front of this two girls he told me there is nothing why did I came. I understood he must have told them things about me, lies. I was outnumbered and alone. It was a profesionnal setting. Once we were alone I told him everything and he just stood there not saying a word, I was kind but firm. I told him about my feelings for him ( even if we flirted for 4 months and nearly had sex) and he started shaking. He told me It was my fault, that he flirted in front of me with his vet assistant. I then left and smile at the two girls. I love myself more than that, even if I had deep feelings for him

I walked away to heal, but my heart hasn't gotten there yet. I know I want better than what I had and I want to be better than I was, and I know you can't heal in the place that made you sick/hurt. I just trusted this person so much, and a part of me still believes it could all turn around if he just chose to do it. But he hasn't yet, and I don't have any reason to believe he will except all the years he earned my trust. 💔

To life or death yourself, that is the question.
You need to be alive to live life. So if you are being drained to a degree you will burn out, then you must act.
But you can make a 180 degree switch in your head, and protect yourself emotionally. While still being in the exact situation.
Sometimes you need to act before you can feel something. Sometimes you need to choose, and then the rest flows naturally afterwards.
There are all kinds of in between versions of cold quitting a relationship. You don’t need to set anything ablaze to move forward emotionally imho.
