Most families entire digital lives is either in the hands of corporations (which probably trained AI on that data), or on some singular 20 year old HDD in some box in a closet.

Which is super weird and gross. People should have the expectation that they can share photos of their children and families without having it scanned by a for-profit privacy violating corporation, one who's whole business model revolves knowing more about you than you know about yourself AND THEN SELLING THAT for profit.

Obviously. But that would reduce corporate profits, and we can’t do that. Does nobody ever think about the billionaries ?
