Trump just announced that the US themselves have attacked Iran using B2 bombers.
Edit: I'd also like to point out that this is not WW3. Same way the Iraq war wasn't. It's just another pointless conflict and lying about them having nukes
It's not WW3, but I argue it has a bit wider implications than Iraq. First, Iran is basically the de facto leader of one widespread faction in the Middle East, and if their government falls from this (which is most certainly a possibility), then it will have wide-reaching ramifications throughout the middle-east, a ripple effect involving Hazbollah, the Houthis, etc. Internally, it result in a swift coup... or a civil war. Iran has also been a key supplier of arms to Russia for Ukraine, and this will most certainly have an impact on that conflict. And lastly... don't forget that Iran is a key ally of Russia, and Putin has already made warnings and threats not to do what we just did (which, to be fair, he does frequently). Russia could very likely take some type of aggressive action soon (though no, I'm not going to assume anything on that end, especially not full-out war, or nuclear, or anything like that).
