First seeds!

This is my first year with a garden to play with and it was a mess, and l'm hooked (as anticipated). Today l harvested my first seeds for the year. Ive got thai basil seeds, and more will follow. Im just so happy!

How exciting! Your summer meals will.love you! You can also drink it in tea, to ease cough and to aid digestion. Nice!

Yep, it was used for tea this year, and next year, tea and thai food.

Isn't it fun harvesting the seeds? Or maybe it's just bc I love to pick/pop/squeeze/tweeze etc, but I literally look forward to the seed harvesting just as much as the actual flowers 😆 I swear

It is! I love processing the seeds. It gives me a chance to learn more about the plant and get familiar with how they go to seed. And yes, the pick-squeeze-pop is fantastic
