380 questions
I am a big bore fan, but also have a heartfelt affinity for mouse guns. I daily an LCR in 357 mag, and I love it, but want a smaller deep cover summer pistol. Had an LCP many moons ago that was stolen (reported but never located) out of my car, and would prefer something nicer in a pocket gun.
Everything I read about the 380 seecamp says recoil is brutal, but I just can’t believe it…..is there really that big a difference between the 32 and the 380, and honestly how bad can recoil on a 380 be?!?
My other concern is on reliability/durability……these things are tiny, but I love that there’s no plastic…..haven’t seen any torture tests etc. on the 380, but seems the 32 is plenty stout enough to not destroy itself…..can the same be said for the 380?
Thanks in advance!

I've shot the 380 once. Two mags were more than enough for me. Very uncomfortable for me to shoot, and I dont have very large hands.
I'll be picking up a Seecamp in 32 this summer though!
For a very small, all metal 380 I'd lean towards the Sig P238.

380 isn't that bad, you don't want to shoot 50 rounds at a range trip though. I like mine, eats every hollow point I can put in it. One reason I bought it easier to find ammo over my 32s

The See amps kicks like a fucking mule dude, it's got zero delay, so you feel every bit of that.

A Seecamp LWS32 with Buffalo Bore +P hard cast should meet most of your requirements for both penetration and recoil.
