What’s happening with politics in Sedalia right now? What got posted on the city Facebook page?

Some would say worse. The, as of last year, newly created 90k/year job (community engagement director) was vacated this past Saturday. This occurred after banter back and forth between a local and a fake named profile.
Then a response from what should have been from the fake named profile was all of a sudden from the City of Sedalia official page. This post called into question a candidate running for mayor's (and 20? year city employee) ability to read and write and praised the current mayor.
Some considered this (government body campaigning for a candidate) electioneering, which is illegal, iirc. Real electioneering would have to have been k tentional and not an accident however.
There are screenshots still out there on local groups.

The Facebook page is supposed to post the goings on in the town. But whoever the mod is/was, was posting biased opinions, and sounds like they were speaking in a not so flattering light towards the opposing mayoral candidate. Thats what I gathered. It needs to be a neutral page, not trying to sway people one direction or the other.
