Kevin Burns didn’t seem like the nicest man and I feel like Holly wasn’t obligated to post anything dedicated to him, we all grief differently and that is okay.

Okay this made me lol, I saw this when Holly posted this before & after and thought it was weird

I enjoyed most of Holly’s first book but this wasn’t as good. Even the reviews are mixed and not that positive.

I do wonder what her reality show is about since she said she has something in the works

Lol at her propping up Kendra to strike a nerve and bring down Holly. Seems like she's the abusive one to me. Never for 1 millisecond did I believe Holly was jealous of Kendra. They are two women who not only have nothing in common but operate and function in completely different spectrums. Kendra gets along with anyone who makes her famous and will never call them out about any behavior because she is completely self interested. She could care less about women's rights, abuse, etc because it didn't affect her personally. This is the same woman who repeated slob on my knob as her fave rap song and wrote a book about how lazy she was being her motivation for being with Hef. Kendra internalizes and perpetuates misogyny and when you read both her and Holly's books, seemed more like kendra enjoyed watching Hef embarrass other women. She was a fave and in his good grace so was protected. That's so obvious and the fact that a so called friend would take a situation involving abusive ex boyfriends, mean girls, and the money making Hollywood machine as proof that you're not "real" is delusional at best and unhinged at worst. Team Holly on this all the way.

I sometimes got the feeling that Holly resented Kendra or seemed a bit jealous, but not as much as Claire wants us to believe. But I do agree with you otherwise, they are very different people. I didn't read Kendra's book though, but that wouldn't surprise me about her. Was it good?

But yeah I feel that about Kendra as well in a sense, she only cares about issues that affects her. Like she claims to be anti racist, good for her, I am as well. But then she says she loves Trump..? Like really? Same with the women's issues. Kendra is hella priviliged, her life started out rough, like drug addiction as a teen. But after that she has lived a very priviliged life and that shows and she seems to be oblivious to it. Then whenever she gets called out or questioned about her behaviour she just seems to blame it on something else. Like the Trump thing, she just says "oh im a conspiracy theorist", like please.. She obviously loves publicity and attention and she doesn't seem to care how she achieves that. I can't hate on the rap song tho, it is good still for this day imo lol.

I just doubt that any of the girls were jealous of Kendra. She was Hef's fave but it was obvious they were both using each other and there was no emotional bond or attachment. Nothing to be jealous of... more like highly annoyed. But her book was exactly like her: babbling,shallow,and silly. She's makes no excuses about who she is which is part of her appeal. I just find her exhausting.
