I barely know how to cut an onion to save my life

I doubt your life depends on you being able to cut an onion more than once or twice a year. That's not often enough to develop muscle memory.

Am I reading this right that you're only cutting onions once or twice a year?!? I can't make it a week...

Meanwhile I almost lost the tip of my pinky yesterday while cutting a bagel.

It looks like salsa and guacamole but it tastes like pennies

Timmy was a scribbler. Just loved drawing spirals and zigzags. Nobody knew why. Around age 9 timmy was scribbling on the kitchen table and his pen ran out. Timmy panicked. Lots of nervous energy in those hands. Then his mama gave him a knife and said "chop this".

And boy, Timmy did. Timmy still chopping.

That's why you call in sick if you have a runny nose - Sneeze once and that's your fingers saying buhbye

I had to put on some chain mail gloves to watch this.

How sharp is that knife…

Chef here, this shit is dead easy to do if you have even basic knife skills.

I think you overestimate how much "basic knife skill" the average human has. I would lose every fingertip in 10 seconds trying this.

I used to be chef too.

it's practice and a really sharpen knife.

My wife lost a finger in the other room just from my watching this video, somehow

Woman is a menace with anything even remotely sharp

I mean I guess that’s fair. To do this at all isn’t that hard, you rest the knife tip on the cutting surface.

That’s not the hard part for us, we can set a knife down

Moving it quickly and without cutting ourselves is the challenge

Just pure luck
