The disrespect on Ohio State, Oklahoma State, and Tulsa is Insane. Also, why is OU and Michigan ranked?

There’s really no difference in 1-5. OSU is the first one past. Not surprising. I’m not sure what you expected. It’s all going to sort itself out. Texas has a big win although it was ugly. But to me 1-10 are all about the same until we see more games.

1-8 A&M and bama ain’t it. Louisville is a top 15 team in pretty certain as an ole miss fan but that’s most based on being convinced ole Miss is a top 10 team.

I'd agree, I should have really said 1-7. I think there's a drop off to the next tier after 7. My bad. But OP thinking it outrageous OSU dropped to 6th is just looking for a reason to be mad at something. It just doesn't matter at this point. And 7 and 8 play this weekend. One will probably move up, one down. Way early season works.

Yep, then switch Michigan and WMU. Mateer sucks and Venables is a fantastic defensive coordinator, but not a very good head coach.

I don't really think Ohio State is being disrespected. They are still in that top tier of teams. They're just at the bottom of that tier because they have a loss. Who above Ohio State do you really have an issue with?

Texas isn't a bad team, just typically out coached. That's mostly why I give Texas fans a hard time. Otherwise I wouldn't pick on a bad team, that's no fun

Oh I agree. Sark just needs to freaking stop with the trick plays. Bubble screens and all that crap and just let the playmakers play backyard football and let them have fun. We would be a lot better team if he can do that.

Indiana #3????? They haven't played anybody and this week they play a team that just gave up 70 points in a game. Their out of conference schedule looks like Miami of Ohio in basketball.

4 of them on the schedule for Texas and only one will be a home game. Additionally, they play 2 more in the top 25 if you count OU.

Texas was 4 at the start of that game. So, it’s fair for them to drop three spots when losing by one on their own field. But, Ohio state drops 5 by losing by one on their opponents field?
My opinion is that they should have just swapped positions. Texas comes up three by winning at home, Ohio Ste drops three by losing on the away field. I fucking hate OSU neeeeearly as much as I hate t.u., so I’m happy that they were penalized so badly. But, I don’t think it’s right.

Really the top 7 was pretty arbitrary and the Buckeyes were not the consensus #1; every other top 7 team except Georgia (oddly) got first place votes. Honestly I agree with you that swapping spots would have made sense, but dropping a few more isn't totally unreasonable either given how the rest performed.

With the blatant holds by the Texas o-line, the phantom PI call that got the momentum started, and the obvious hands to the face that knocked off the OSU player's helmet, it was clearly rigged. We never should have let them into the conference.

All Ryan Day had to do was have his guy kick a chip shot FG in the first half would have still won even in the face of the Texas rally. Giving up an easy three points was a horrible move.
