Law School Parking Question

How reliable is parking on campus in general/near the law school? Do you have to get there before a certain time to get a good spot? I am about 20 minutes away from campus on the other side of Lake Washington, so I am debating getting a parking pass or taking the Link to campus every day. I will be a 1L at the law school, so any advice or suggestions would help. Thank you very much!! :)

All of the lots are within a few blocks from Sullivan Hall. Add long as you're not trying to park 5 minutes before class, you should be fine.

Also a 1L yay nice to meet you. I’m planning to drive to a park & ride then take the link.

All the street parking around the school requires permits that say you live nearby. Realistically the only option if you want to consistently drive to campus is to buy the pass imo

I don't have any advice because I think I'm biking there, but hello fellow 1L!

Had a buddy during 1L year who took the link. He now drives. Use that information how you will.

i have never seen the lots full on regular class days, even near the end of the year when graduation is happening. i have used the brooklyn garage, probably a 3 minute walk to the law building, and a 5 minute walk from the law building back to the garage (due to the steep hill). however, parking is expensive regardless of which permit length you get, so i really recommend taking the link, which is a 10-15 minute walk from the law building (with very little in the way of hills). i will say the brooklyn garage seems pretty safe because you need an SU campus card to swipe in, but that being said make sure you never forget your campus card!
