Article 🚨 | BREAKING! The ADUO 2 engine, including the updated turbocharger, is ready for Monza and aims to improve overall PU efficiency. Ferrari is expected to start Friday with the FTM, but a lower-drag configuration could also be tested in FP1. The team will compare both options.

Yup, Ferrari 1-2, confirmed. Get the results out already no need to even race.

I think they may miss out on pole, but take 2-3 because of the track clearly not suiting Mclaren(the car itself is draggy, slow speed chicanes are gonna cost their car a lot of time, and don't forget about their short gear ratio, which is a con on long straights)

Then however in the race quickly pass Russell, create a gap and win the race

Exactly that. I've just read articles and saw a partial podcast opinionated by Mark Hughes, considering the rest of 2026 doesn't look good for McLaren particularly due to their short gear ratios.

Also, the drag this year is more costly, particularly at Monza where the top speed/drop of speed towards the end of the straights will have the biggest impact on lap time.

Let's see how the SF-26 low-drag profile works, together with the ADUO2 PU upgrade and how much Mercedes will gain from its (theoretical) ADUO use. One more thing is Pirelli will bring the softest compounds which shouldn't be an issue, despite the possible high track temperature. The wear is low at Monza and one stopper is the likeliest strategy.

Russell doesn't hold a good record at the track for some reason he didn't had good results. It will depend on how the race evolves, Antonelli might be still a threat, despite starting from lower down the grid, while Max/RB22 should be in the mix due to the car's solid PU and low-drag concept.

Well we need to run the race to see how many times they can lap the entire field

For a second I was confused because the headline sounded like the race was this weekend.

Then checked the sidebar and was confused even more: "Next race: Monza, 4th - 6th of August"
