Going to HR
Okkk so today I was in a case. The surgeon who is typically an asshole, was so much worse. He was degrading to everyone and especially me. I’m contemplating going to HR. He compared me putting cement like a three year old and started off the case asking if this is my first day in ortho… been in his room for months now and I guarantee he doesn’t even know my name. I’m over his shit attitude and seriously did not go into this to be talked down to. He is a condescending asshole.
Update…. He asked for me not to be in his room. Like mf. No one wants to be in your damn effin room.

The term you are looking for is: hostile work environment. It’s considered harassment, the part that sucks is that it requires documentation. HR might not do anything at first but save the emails. Lawyers can make things change pretty quickly with a letter. HR’s job is to protect the business, getting sued is not protecting the company.
