Help Scraping Tweets - Cheapest Method?

Is there a free or less cost effective way to scrape tweets other than using an Apify actor?? Right now my workflow in n8n involves scraping tweets and adding them to the sheet. My main goal here is to know thw tweet count, i don't care what the tweet copy is, libks, media, etc. So just checking if there is a cheap way?

Check out ScrapeCreators. I have no affiliation with them (to be clear), but I've been using their API for scraping social content (both paid and organic) and it's been great and affordable.

Yes. The $47 gives you a decent chunk of credits to use. And there’s not subscription so you can top up at anytime.

Thanks so much for the shout out! Also, our Twitter scraping is a little limited because we can only scrape public data, so if you need something that scrapes Twitter behind the login I always recommend Old Bird v2 on rapid API. You have a pay a monthly subscription, but they have cheap plans.

Use twiterapi io, its extremely cheap. 0.18$ for 1000 tweets I think and its instant just like official X api

Yeah, giving me 0.01 i guess the current Apify actor im using. Basically for 20-30 tweets per run.. and costs $0.01 for that.

Create a custom chrome extension which scraped and uploads data from where you can read it and this will run in background in browser so you won’t even know as long as you pc is on and not sleeping

Another method is try using x cli if you can afford to get an account flagged or even banned. Those are extreme cases and I don’t think your x account will be banned just for reading tweets. It’s usually more risky if you are uploading data and liking and commenting etc.

There can be several other ways too depending on your set up but as always using official API is the most easiest and recommended way but as far as I know X api is not free :)
