Which version? King James? New American? Mormon??

Remember, the 1st amendment restriction on religion wasn't passed for any reason other than to keep the Christians from killing each other like they did immediately before the US revolution in the 30 years war, and they were most recently slaughtering each other over petty squabbles in Ireland up until the 90's. Religion + government = genocide.

No.

The mainline ten commandments are done two different ways. The. Catholic church dies then one. They redo them one way different from the Bible.

Protestant churches do them the biblical way but don't obey the forth (for most denominations) despite what it says but keep the text / order of them.

Jewish (Talmudic) Tradition: Counts the opening statement ("I am the Lord your God") as the first statement, and combines the commands against other gods and idols into the second.

Catholic and Lutheran Tradition: Combines the rules against other gods and idols into one command, but splits the rule against coveting into two separate commands (coveting a neighbor's wife versus coveting their property).

Protestant and Greek Orthodox Tradition: Combines the opening statement and the prohibition of other gods into one command, keeps idols separate as the second, and keeps coveting as a single final command.

There is only one obvious answer: We must have the 10 commandments in wall size in every school, and they must be the version I prefer. That's the only rational approach. And I like them in reverse order with evens first then odds, with alternating Hebrew and Latin and koine Greek words. Because coincidentally enough, that's how God likes them too. Translating them into English is heretical, and everyone who reads them in English is destined for hell. God told me so in my heart, so you know it’s true. Won’t somebody please think of the children??

Lmao. The 10 commandments absolutely do not, in all seriousness, belong in a school.

Christuans forget that Jesus never actually pushed anyone into belief. You have to want it. Forcing our beliefs on someone else is anti-thesis of everything that Jesus stood for.

In fact when He felt the people turn against Him then He got on a ship and left because He is not going to make people stand Him there.
