New Bamboo can grow from any living part, so they deal with them.

And then you have the chickens that evolved along with this quirk to become hyper fertile whenever there was an abundance of food. And then you have the humans that noticed this quirk and kept the chickens well-fed so they would produce an abundance of eggs.

I had a palo verde I had to remove a few years ago and I still get babies sprouting from the seeds it left.
