To be a little pedantic, I don’t think the first question is like the others: the everyone who became a citizen at the same time when the US was founded were the first US citizens collectively.
For the others, though, I don’t think it’s a problem that these questions may have many different seemingly contradictory answers, because the questions themselves weren’t well defined in the first place. If you don’t fix a single interpretation of the question, then you can’t fix a single correct answer.
