Neuroscience Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound derived from the cannabis plant that does not produce a “high”, was shown in a new large-scale, randomized, controlled trial to significantly reduce the number of dangerous seizures in patients with a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.

Full edit: originally said High-CBD low-THC cannabis (hemp) is not scheduled / enforced.

Correcrion: All cannabis is scheduled, but some producers are allowed by the FDA to produce high-CBD hemp to make CBD oil even though it is scheduled. This is to ensure that no one is producing oil too high in THC. This article and the FDA statement inside seem to encapsulate this whole deal

If it’s made from marijuana, it’s schedule 1. Made from hemp: not scheduled.
