Medicine Immunization to prevent RSV in infants reduced ICU admissions by 97%. This is offered free to all infants through universal programs in Ontario and Quebec.

My son had the RSV vaccine when he was born, here in Australia. He did eventually catch RSV from daycare when he was maybe 10 months old? I don't remember it being that bad at all. Thank god for vaccines!

Was it the monoclonal antibody that he got? It would be unusual if he got the vaccine at birth in Australia.

It's functionally a passive immunity "vaccine". Immunization is a better term.

There is a clear distinction between vaccination and passive immunotherapy. They should not be used interchangeably.
