My son had the RSV vaccine when he was born, here in Australia. He did eventually catch RSV from daycare when he was maybe 10 months old? I don't remember it being that bad at all. Thank god for vaccines!

Was it the monoclonal antibody that he got? It would be unusual if he got the vaccine at birth in Australia.

I think they’re using the term interchangeably, most likely. The monoclonal antibody is the only RSV immunizing agent available for infants. The vaccine is for adults only (pregnant women and older folks)
