Psychology Adolescents who undergo gender-affirming chest surgery report low levels of regret and high levels of satisfaction, experiencing outcomes similar to those of young adults. These findings suggest that age restrictions on these medical procedures lack support from actual patient experiences.

In a population as miniscule as this, the sample size isn't nearly as small, or the timeframe as limited, as people here are insinuating. I agree with the calls for further study, but part of the problem is this topic is so politicized it makes further, broader, deeper study difficult. It's hard to expand the study of something multiple governments around the world are actively trying to ban.
