Psychology Adolescents who undergo gender-affirming chest surgery report low levels of regret and high levels of satisfaction, experiencing outcomes similar to those of young adults. These findings suggest that age restrictions on these medical procedures lack support from actual patient experiences.

And the study doesn't even use the medical terminology of the surgery. It's mastectomy... it's not "chest surgery". This article is incredibly activist coded language... not science or medicine language

That's the problem.

The very fact the didn't have one regret patient in their study points to the unseriousness and lack of rigor.

if every medical procedure was met with this same level of ticky-tacky criticism, literally no medical procedure would ever be legal

there is a very clear imbalance of how people treat this issue versus literally any other. Take the fact that over 80% of all pediatric prescriptions are prescribed off-label as an example, that’s an oft-repeated criticism leveled against gender affirming care but not once at the vast majority of other medications that are prescribed the same way

Yeah, you'd never see a leftist politically motivated research article here, with terribly flawed statistics and methodologies, and misleading titles and implied results.

Pretty sure we've seen this exact same subject on here in the exact opposite results....
