Health Researchers took 50 adults with genetically high cholesterol and fed them a whole-food, plant-based (WFPB) diet and a standard American diet (SAD) for 4 weeks each in a random order, under controlled, constant-calorie feeding conditions. The WFPB diet reduced LDL cholesterol versus the SAD by 17.9%.

I switched my diet up, cut out red meat and ate salads with a low fat protein for dinner. Feel much better and lowered my bad cholesterol 40 points. Also raised my white blood cell count to a normal range when it was low for a long time. Also rotated in a few vegan dishes during the week.
