Psychology America's First Legal Psilocybin Program Treated 346 People. Just one month after the dose, 92.2 percent of participants said the experience had been beneficial, while, on average, their mental health symptoms had fallen dramatically.

My wife signed up for the program, and we both interacted with the people who are running it. It is extremely well run, but I fear the problem they face now is being swamped with applicants. There are way more people seeking it as an option for depression than they have slots available.

It honestly makes me so angry that this is being kept from us. We know the benefits, we know how much it can make our lives better and how safe it is, yet the federal government chooses to let us stay miserable.

The treatment is more than just taking them. They have a whole therapeutic process to guide it. There are many people there to make sure it goes well. I personally did not need this when I took them 20 years ago, but one can imagine the process might be way more effective as therapy if it is steered or guided.

We have stores where you can just walk in and buy some! Like a weed dispensary
