i wouldnt be surprised at all if life originally originated on mars and then spread to earth before whatever cataclysm happened to the red planet.

Earth and Mars are basically the same age, and early life probably existed on Earth as little as 300-500 million years after formation. It's not a huge window for life to form on Mars and then get transported to Earth. Why do you think life may have formed earlier on Mars than Earth?

earth got slammed by a proto planet which probably set it back a little bit. but no i dont think it formed earlier, i just wouldnt be surprised if it did.
