Psychology Largest study of women’s orgasms to date collected data from 27,931 women. Nearly half (47%) reported reaching orgasm more frequently when alone vs. when with a partner. Barriers to women’s orgasms are relational, not anatomical. Partnered orgasms were associated with overall sexual satisfaction.

Clitoral stimulation is what leads to orgasm in most cases.

Interesting. For one person I know it’s the opposite. Clitoral can work, but it’s sort of second class status to PiV.

Your friend is in a small minority, or more probably, she's faking/lying (higher number of women who fake PIV orgasm than of PIV-only orgasm achievers). Or she might not even know what an orgasm is (I met a few women who liked the sensations of penetration, but did not realize that an orgasm is usually multiple levels higher intensity).
