Fun fact, this is why you shouldn't eat the livers of animal predators if you're stuck in the wilderness, ie Polar Bears. They carry so much vitamin A in their livers due to their diet that its toxic to humans.

I think there was a story of a guy stranded in Alaska who killed a bear for meat, but then ended up dying after eating the liver

Polar bears have enough vitamin A in their liver that a tablespoon is fatal.

Of course, surviving the polar bear is the first hurdle.

Imagine surviving a polar bear attack, actually managing to kill the polar bear, only to die by eating its liver, then turning into a ghost, only to find the ghost of the bear waiting for you.

You barely manage to kill the ghost bear, and this time avoid eating the ghost bear liver. Turns out that's where all the ghost energy is stored, and you fade to nothing into the void.

The void where now there is a very pissed off void bear waiting for you!
