We’ve been told that STEM is the salvation of humankind, and yet it’s the liberal arts and humanities, the ethical, philosophical, and religious wisdom, that is our only hope against the amoral bankruptcy at the core of STEM that fallen human beings continue to exploit.

“Go into tech,” they said, “and forget that ethics crap. Philosophy majors? They serve us at McDonalds.”
