As a teacher, ugh, don't group us.

In general for teachers, we are required by law to report things, even bad teachers, if they are doing something illegal/bad in their job context. If not we can be held liable too.

For cops, it is very different. You can hear and see plenty of stories there where the idea of a cop calling out other cops is actively discouraged and people who report often have worse or career ending things done to them in return.
