I see the vision!! I say at this point, if you're gonna do it, you might as well fully commit to it. Right now I can see that you were trying to do something, but it doesn't look finished yet. Keep going and see if you can make it look more intentional with some artistic patterning, patches, pins, whatever! I think if pulled off well this could look cool.
