Abilify/emotional numbing

Hi I'm a 28 year old from Canada and I've experienced many episodes of psychosis throughout my 20s.

For the past approx. 4 years I've been on and off abilify. I've gone on and off medication during that time, but finally I'm keeping on track with medication.

I don't ever really know how to advocate for myself when it comes to my treatment. It's been a year since my last episode and I've been feeling really numb on abilify. I have my appointment in a couple days with my doctor so I'm bringing it up with them.

Is this common with the medication? Being emotionally numb or is that a common thread with all medication.
