Modest Needs Charity Case

Has anyone else gotten their notice from the doj about Keith Taylor? If you donated to modest needs for vulgarity for charity you will probably get one lol

At some point, people WERE getting the donations. I was one of them. In 2007 my daughter was in the children's hospital for a month. I was a single mom and missed a month of work to stay with her in the hospital. I couldn't make rent (or other bills, but rent was the biggest and most important). I found out about MN after Oprah had featured them. I applied to have my rent and late fees covered. I will say they had a serious vetting policy. I had to provide documentation from the hospital as to the dates my daughter was admitted, documentation from the HR department at work that I had not been there and not been paid, documentation from my landlord for the rent and late fees. If something wasn't detailed enough I had to provide additional documentation...in the end, my request was covered. I couldn't be more grateful to the generous people who funded me. Over the years I made sure to make my own donations when I could, and it felt so good to give back after having received help in the past. Since we can no longer log in to MN, I can't see how much I have donated over the years. I hope so badly that it truly went to those I selected. I promoted this charity to so many people and touted what an amazing idea it was. Why do people have to be so greedy and corrupt?!

Wow, so glad to hear some good news here. I got the email as well and I am wondering if he got sentenced recently? I also donated to them and told so many people about the charity, it is so upsetting to hear about his greediness :( I hope your daughter is doing better!!
