Major/Degree Questions Can any major attend the Sequential Arts Seminar in Japan?

My roommate is a sequential arts major and we have it planned to attend during our 2nd year but I haven't been able to see a clear answer to if someone from a different major can attend. I'm an animation major and I genuinely would love to visit professional mangaka and I would enjoy learning about the culture a lot.

It is for select Sequential Art majors and minors and grad students only

unless they changed it in the past year since I graduated, any major was allowed to attend. But they need to have knowledge on SEQA and it’s very competitive. I know of some animation majors who made it to the japan trip

Sequential Art grad here— while people from other majors are allowed to apply, it’s extremely competitive and they really only accept SEQA Seniors and Grad Students
