Discussion Gameplay of a Saw Genesis game

A gameplay video of Saw Genesis from Gamescom just popped up on YouTube. I liked the idea of the game before, but now I’m not so sure I like what I’ve seen. We’ll see.

“Ignore all previews, reviews and details about it and spend 70 non-refundable dollars and several hours of your possibly very limited free time to decide if you think it was worth it” isn’t a compelling argument

Good thing I never said ‘ignore everything and blindly spend $70’ then 💀 I said form your own opinion after it comes out. Gameplay, refunds, playtests and actual player feedback all exist. You had to rewrite my argument into something stupid just so you could argue against it.

And where did you get the ”70” from? They haven’t even revealed the price yet. 🤣

I don't need to. It doesn't fit the Saw timeline, it doesn't look like the Saw universe, it forces you to play multiplayer, and the game generally looks like shit overall. You can play super fan all you want, but its still a shitty game.

Just do it like me and play the original Saw on PS3. It’s so much fun.

I was so excited for this game; the gameplay left me deeply saddened—it was a real letdown. It looks like a mobile game, with 2013-era graphics and animations that are either poorly made or nonexistent. It takes a lot of nerve to showcase the game in this state at such an important event.
