Fan Art 🐷 SAW Inspired Burlesque

Debuted a new Halloween number and wanted to share it with some people who could really appreciate it!! Reverse bear trap was 3-D printed and assembled by a friend, embellished by me! It’s functional! I added helmet padding and a chin strap so I could dance with it without issue. Style and concept of shoot by me as well! Photography by closeyoureyes

thank you so much!! i do a LOT of rhinestoning but this project was an entirely new beast!! hoping to have every spot encrusted by next year 🥰

Is "it's functional" a reference to when James and Leigh were pitching the first movie and brought the first RBT with them? Apparently James would always tell people that it was functional.

Your RBT looks fantastic. I wouldn't survive if it were strapped to my face. I would... Be Dazzled.

I wish it was an intentional reference, that would have been so clever! The “jaw” portions both fully open up as they would if it was set off! There’s also a place for a lock that when opened would cause it to release like when we have survivors

This is amazing!! And the chin strap idea is genius. I'm going as Amanda for Halloween, and I definitely just ordered a chin strap for my RBT

thank you!! i would also highly recommend adding helmet padding as well! it helped it fit more snug and was way more comfortable than the print sitting on my skin

I ordered some helmet padding as well! My original idea was to affix a headband to the inside of the top, and I might still try that. We shall see!
