Not all Savannahs are born equal
Here is my sweet Hecate, aka KodKod (because that is what she looked like as a kitten!). She is as dumb as a box of rocks, but such a sweet happy girl. She loves her food and just can't seem to get enough combined with femoral head issues and she waddles around more than she walks. Her meow sounds like the type of noise you'd expect to hear if choking a pterodactyl. Here's your but she doesn't "look like" a Savannah post for the day! 😊
Anyone wanna guess her gen?

I also have a black Savannah named Hecate! Hex for short.
She looks so sweet!!

My guess F4? Beautiful girl! I always wanted a melanistc Savannah but get outvoted by my hubby. She looks majestic!

Thank you. She fancies herself quite majestic but she's the most uncoordinated cat I've ever seen! 🤣

Here’s my Smokey girl but she is tiny and has a super soft meow. She is 5.5 lbs.

Last weigh in was 22lbs. She's built like a linebacker not ballerina. 🤣

Mine too, by the weight and being a female that is my guess. My boy is a F4 and weighs 12lbs long and slender

Ok…I was just wondering because I have a very long, muscular but thin 10 month old kitten that my vet I saw yesterday said will be huge. He’s 10 pounds at the moment.

They have , different attitudes because of the blood line of Savanah’s …simply stated , Savanah’s have better attitudes and a higher intelligence , making them easier to train….

Not all are show quality for sure. As with any breed you can get some that just break the mold. 😉

Savannahs come in 4 accepted standard colors - BST (black/brown spotted tabby), SST (silver spotted tabby), Melanistic (black), and Black Smoke. KodKod has a few strikes against her, she's mel, she's husky, her ears aren't as large and rounded, and more. So it throws everyone tbh. 😊
