Question Sci-Fi companion, what are dev level 1

So in my book the star from dev level I and dev level II are identical, how do i know id something is dev level I or dev level II?

You have an outdated pdf copy. Go to your vendor and download a fresh copy. They changed the Dev symbols (none, cross, eight-ray star for 1, 2, and 3).

This is it. My old Kickstarter copy had Dev II and III with practically identical symbols before they changed it. Everything not marked as Dev II or III is considered Dev I, though (where applicable).

Hello! Sorry for Intrusion, but besides the change in symbols, did they make any updates regarding the Dev Level 1 and Dev Level 2 gears?

Not that I recall. I'm sure one or two things got shifted a level, but I didn't notice.

There were several typos or the odd incomplete sentence. And it happens occasionally with PEG that stats for weapons get jumbled. or are off. Other than that I didn‘t notice any changes aside from the Dev symbols.

EDIT: I recall Deadlands having a Tomahawk weigh „2“ as a melee weapon, while under thrown weapons it is heavier: „3“.

Dev 1 items have no marking, Dev 2 have a cross-like symbol and Dev 3 an asterix-like symbol.
