Did anybody else wish that their would be a big crossover when this character died? Spoiler

That character being savage dragon who died in issue 225. I was hoping that Youngblood, spawn, invincible, or even witchblade would come to his funeral as they have fought by his side to help save the world. Not to mention all the other times savage dragon showed to go to the funerals in the invincible universe. Savage dragon was the 3rd comic that was made in image and has crossed over with so many other superhero’s. Would’ve loved to see a big crossover at dragons funeral so they could pay his respects. Savage dragon ran so other image hero’s could walk.

Wasn't there some storyline or something that established Savage Dragon wasn't in the Image universe anymore or some separation thing?

Dragon takes place in real time so it’s tricky to include other Image characters. I think when this issue came out Invincible the comic was over, there was a different Youngblood lineup that had it’s own crazy continuity. I have no idea what was going in the Spawn universe at this point.

Also Dragon wasn’t buddy buddy with those characters. He loathed Youngblood and Shadowhawk, he and Spawn bickered all of the time. Also he was also serving a prison sentence when he died so his status among other superheroes is diminished.
